CrimeStoppers






Crimestoppers has seen a 32 per cent increase which equates to 2027 more people arrested and charged as a result of information given to the charity over the last three years. Nottinghamshire Police: CCTV of murdered mother-of-two released


Police have issued CCTV of a mother-of-two whose body was found in St Ann’s.

The body of 28-year-old Caroline Jane Coyne, of Bakewell Drive, Top Valley, was discovered between two houses in Thorneywood Mount, St Ann’s around 8.45am on Saturday (23 July).

A Home Office post-mortem examination found she had died from head injuries.

The CCTV still was taken by a passing bus in Porchester Road, at 1.06am on Saturday morning.

Coventry police ask public : "Can you name this man?"


Police in Coventry have today released CCTV of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a hire car.
The car, a black VW Golf, was taken following a burglary at an address in the Willenhall area of the city in the early hours of Tuesday 29 March.

GMP release CCTV still of man wanted in connection with rape


A woman was raped in Crumpsall. 

It happened between 4.45am and 5.15am on Sandy Bank Road on 3 July 2011. 
The woman, 20, was walking down Bury Old Road when she approached a man and asked him for a cigarette.
The man then offered to show her a short cut, but turned aggressive and raped her.

Image released of a man after woman raped - Manchester

Police have released images of a man they want to talk to after a woman was raped.

On Monday 11 April 2011, the 31-year-old victim had been drinking with friends at a bar in Manchester City Centre. At around 6.30pm she left and it is believed she met with a man on Oldham Street.

How a New Police Tool for Face Recognition Works - Digits - WSJ

New article in Wall Street Journal show casing a new tool to assist Police Officers in identifying criminals on the street. Device looks to be still in development but I'm sure it will be on the streets of the UK before long which will greatly reduce the amount of police time wasted by individuals who provide false details and increase the arrest rates for absconders and persons wanted on warrants.
