Lincolnshire Police - Fight men v men in drag

Police are appealing for information on the men fighting in these CCTV images.








The violence took place in the early hours of May 6 at Jailhouse Rock in Silver Street, Lincoln. Everyone involved fled the scene before the police arrived and despite extensive enquiries, the people involved have not been located.

Around six men dressed in drag entered the bar and started talking to another group of five or six men. An argument broke out and one of the men picked up a chair and smashed it over the back of the head of one of the men in drag. A fight between all the men then followed. It is not thought there were any serious injuries.

Essex Police - Do you recognise this man in the video?


Police have released moving CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary in which a four-figure sum of cash was stolen.

A man forced open the door of a room above The Thatchers Arms pub in Great Warley between 10am and 1pm on Sunday, March 27, 2011.

Investigating officer Dc Laura Dyer said: “The owners of the pub believe the man shown in the CCTV may have been in the pub prior to the burglary. He is very distinctive, particularly in the way he is dressed. Do you recognise the man in the hat? Did you see him in the pub?”

Northumbria Police - CCTV images released after Berwick burglary

Police are releasing CCTV images after a burglary to an industrial premises in Berwick.
Between midnight and 2am on Friday, September 16, thieves broke into two portacabins at the McCreath and Son car garage on North Road.
They stole an Omega mechanics toolkit and an amount of cash. Officers later recovered the toolkit from a nearby graveyard.
Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises the men in the images, or has any information as to who may have been responsible for the burglary to contact police in Berwick on 03456 043 043 ext 69191.

Lancashire Police - Burnley assault CCTV



POLICE in Burnley have issued CCTV images of three men they are keen to trace after a 25 year old Nelson man was assaulted outside Bo Jangles on Saturday 28th May 2011.
The assault took place just after 5am when the victim was stood with friends. He was attacked by a number of men who pursued him along Hammerton Street, into Queens Lancashire Way and up towards the traffic lights at Manchester Road.
The victim was punched in the face and sustained a broken jaw.
An investigation into the assault continues and police have now released a series of CCTV stills taken within Burnley town centre.
Detectives are keen to speak with the three men circled in the images in connection with the incident and are appealing for information to assist them in identifying who they are.

Bedfordshire Police want to identify these two men who were captured on security camera at woods on private land near Flitwick.
They were photographed between 5pm and 6pm on August 21 near to large wire pens containing young pheasants.
Not long after they appeared on the CCTV, the gamekeeper walked past the pens and found five pheasants had been killed, apparently with a weapon like a catapult. The heads of the birds had been removed, suggesting they had been killed as some sort of sport. The birds’ bodies were left at the scene.
PC Jon Birch, who is the local policing officer for the area, wants to hear from anyone who can identify the men, who also had a little boy with them.

POLICE APPEAL - WOMAN PUSHED ON TRACKS AT LEICESTER SQUARE TUBE

British Transport Police (BTP) is releasing CCTV images of a man detectives are trying to identify after a 23-year-old woman was pushed onto the rail tracks at Leicester Square Tube station.

The incident took place on Friday 16 September at about 11.20pm.

The victim became involved in an argument with a man on the northbound Northern line platform before being pushed on to the tracks. The woman managed to pull herself up back onto the platform as the man fled the station.
The woman suffered a wound to her side and was taken to hospital. She has since been discharged.
BTP Detective Sergeant Fin Egan, the investigating officer, said:
“This was a dangerous and reckless act which could have had grave consequences had a Tube train been approaching.
“The victim suffered a nasty cut to her side as she landed on the rails, but was able to pull herself back up onto the platform.
“The platform was busy at that time on Friday night and I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the images or who witnessed the incident to get in contact.”
The man in the images is described as white, aged about 40 with a thin build. He was wearing a blue shirt, a black jacket and a black wide brimmed hat. He also wore orange/yellow tinted glasses. He spoke with a European accent.

GMP Officers release image sent from dead theft victim's phone

Detectives investigating the theft of a mobile phone in Manchester - which led to the victim being hit by a bus and killed while chasing the thief - have released an image of a man they want to trace in connection with the incident.

The image was sent to one of David Schofield's friends from his phone via BlackBerry Messenger after his death.

"The man in this picture may have nothing to do with it but it would only be right for us to talk to him. If it is someone you recognise, please contact us," DI Andy Naismith, North Manchester CID.
Detective Inspector Andy Naismith, based at North Manchester CID, said:"The man in this picture may have nothing to do with it but it would only be right for us to talk to him. If it is someone you recognise, please contact us.

"Also, if this is you, please come forward whether you have anything to do with the theft or not - I am sure that if you are innocent and someone is sending your picture out from a stolen phone, you will be keen to clear that up with us."

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft on Monday 13 September 2011, and has been bailed to 5 October 2011, pending further inquiries.

Leicestershire Police release Image of man after a robbery at Nationwide Building Society

Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a building society in Leicester have released CCTV images of a man they wish to identify and trace in connection with the incident.
The incident took place at 4.40pm on Tuesday August 30 at the Nationwide Building Society in Horsefair Street when a man entered the premises and demanded money from the cashier.
He threatened staff with what they believed to be a firearm before making off with a quantity of cash.  No one was injured during the incident.

CCTV appeal in bid to trace mother of abandoned baby

Police attempting to trace the mother of an abandoned newborn baby boy have today, Tuesday 20 September, released CCTV images of her leaving Newham General Hospital.
The woman is pictured walking along the hospital corridor from the delivery suite to the exit where she made off.
The woman, who went by the name of 'Katalena Sctarra' and said she was from Birmingham, was on High Street North, East Ham, E6 outside the 'Tots to Teens' shop on Wednesday 14 September at about 18:30hrs when she went into labour.
A passer-by, who police are keen to hear from, helped Katalena and immediately called an ambulance. She was taken to Newham General Hospital where minutes after arriving at 19:00hrs she gave birth to a baby boy whom nurses named 'Charlie', weighed five pounds and one ounce.

Lincolnshire Police release CCTV of suspect wanted after 'gunpoint' robbery on Lincolnshire jewellers

It is believed that, prior to the offence, the offender walked into Spilsby town centre via Boston Road. Afterwards, he ran from the scene across the car parks in the market place and may have made his way through gardens in the Dennett Close and Ancaster Avenue areas before crossing the playing fields and gardens in the area of Winston Road. Local residents are being asked to check their gardens for any items of discarded clothing or property, especially a dark rucksack.

Derbyshire Police release CCTV images of murder victim Lee Hendry



Officers investigating the murder of Lee Hendry have released several images of her taken on the bus she caught from Brimington to Clowne.
Ms Hendry travelled on the number 77 Chesterfield to Worksop bus on Monday, September 12.
She got on the bus at 10.23pm at Ringwood Road, Brimington and got off at 10.56pm at Boughton Lane, Clowne, near the Heritage Community School.

CCTV of shop owner fighting back

This footage has been released by Police and shows the shop owner, Rajesh Pattni, fighting back with a baseball bat. The thieves got away with stock worth approximately £30,000. The gang are seen to get into their get away vehicle as he caves the windscreen in on them.

Police release CCTV images relating to Reading assault

Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images of a group of people officers would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Reading in July.
Sometime between 2.45am and 3am on Sunday 31 July 2011, a 20-year-old man was with a friend near Burger King in St Marys Butts when he was involved in an altercation with a group of about ten to fifteen men, a number of whom punched and kicked him.
The men are believed to be of South East Asian origin, although no further descriptions are available.

CCTV IMAGE RELEASED – ASSAULT IN BERKHAMSTED



Officers are releasing images of people they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Berkhamsted in July.

The incident occurred between at 12am and 12.30am on Saturday, July 9 inside The George Public House in the High Street. In what is believed to an unprovoked incident, a man assaulted another man with a glass, causing cuts and bruising to his head. The fragments from the glass went into the eye of a second man who was stood close-by causing serious injuries to his eye.

Lincolnshire Police release CCTV in bid to identify man


Police are appealing for information on the man pictured in this CCTV footage in relation to a serious sexual assault in Lincoln last year.
Extensive CCTV enquiries have identified the man as being in the area at the time of the attack, which took place at the back if Sippers pub in Broadgate, Lincoln, between 1.30am and 3am on December 18 last year.

CCTV images released in appeal over £15,000 fraud

Detectives have issued CCTV images of a man they wish to interview in connection with a £15,000 fraud carried out at Stansted Airport.

The man in the pictures is believed to have arrived at the airport to buy a ring that had been advertised on Ebay by a couple from nearby Bishop’s Stortford.The suspect, who is thought to have travelled from north west England by train, paid for the ring with a bank draft which was later found to be a forgery.

CCTV images of Bognor betting shop robbers


Police have issued CCTV pictures of two men they want to talk to in relation to a robbery at a betting shop in Bersted, Bognor Regis, on 2 August, 2011.
Two men entered Ladbrokes in Chichester Road at around 9.15pm and threatened two members of staff with sticks and demanded money.
The male staff handed over several hundred pounds in cash and the men also took a mobile phone belonging to one of the staff members off the counter and left.
Neither of the staff were injured.
The first man is described as white, approximately 5'4", around 35-years-old and with gingery stubble on his face. He was wearing a patterned baseball cap, dark jacket, jeans and grey trainers.
The second man is described as white, approximately 6' and of stocky build. He was wearing a Nike shell suit top in various shades of blue and wearing a hood which covered his face. He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms.


Detective Constable Mark Burgess of West Sussex CID said: "I hope that by issuing these pictures from CCTV someone may be able to recognise them. We do not believe that this robbery is linked with other similar robberies in West Sussex and the rest of the county. Anyone with information which may assist with our enquiries is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1997 of 2/8 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
