Crime in your area - Ringmaster

With the ever increasing numbers of home workers it should be getting more difficult for the opportunistic thief to take advantage of a daily deserted neighbourhood. You know your local area, the habitual routine of your neighbours and whilst doing all those jobs around the house and in the garden that distract us from our actual work you will spot anything that is out of the ordinary going on in the street. Most areas in the UK have a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme (NHW) and many offer a system known as Ringmaster that will notify subscribers to recent crimes in their area and any specific persons or vehicles to look out for. Spead the word to your neighbours, especially the elderly or more vulnerable ones, to warn them about crime trends, not to frighten them but to hopefully prevent them from becoming the victim of a distraction burglary or to lose valuable property.
