The Surveillance Power of Video Analytics
In a new article in Government Video James Careless discuss's the latest trend and developments in the video analytics field. The new technology might take out some of the wasted time in monitoring live images and some of the time searching archive material but don't expect it to replace the human eye just yet. From experience I think senior investigators and courts will want to know that a Forensic Video Analyst has examined the material and made an assessment of its worth and validity for it to be used in evidence.
